From modest beginnings in 1993, The Friends have been able to make grants totalling over £12,000 towards the maintenance of the church, to assist with the following work:
- Renovating the sign-boards outside the church.
- Inprovements to the audio system.
- Repair to dangerous stonework of the south porch.
- Improvements to the choir stalls.
- Re-hanging of the bells.
- Esential repairs to the tower.
- Repair of the churchyard cross.
- Energy efficient lighting in the church.
- Repairs to stained-glass windows.
- Replacement locks on the church gates.
- Protective grille to the Burma Star window.
Only through a strong membership can this work be continued. |
